Get Your Threesome On
A trio of shadows can help shape and define the eyes resulting in more “pop” and a contouring effect. That being said, what to put where isn’t always apparent (This doesn’t only apply to the makeup world - Sometimes you just don’t know where to put it.).
Bringing your Threesome Fantasy to Life
Most trios are designed to provide a complimentary blend of colors - light, medium and dark; when slapped on together will provide a beautiful combo for your ojos. Prepackaged trios take the guesswork out of that part at least. Today we will be using the Makeup Worship Blended Threesome in Bronze.
Step 1. Light it Up.

Use a flat, stiff brush ( Such as MW Duo-Fiber Flat Eyeshadow Brush) to pick up the lightest color, tap off any excess powder. Press the powder onto your lid and up to the crease. Pick up more color whenever necessary. Be sure to press the color onto the lid rather than swiping it. This will make the color last longer and will result in more intensity.
Step 2. Using a rounded crease brush (MW Bullet Crease Brush used here), apply the medium shade to your crease.
Start at the outer corner of your lid, close to the lash line, and move the brush back and forth across the crease. You should meet up with where the lighter color ended. Pick up more color as needed and do this until the color is as intense as you want it to be.
Step 3. Blend

Using a clean, fluffy blending brush (MW Eyeshadow Blender Brush) blend out any harsh edges. Using small circular motions, move the brush along the crease blending the two colors together so that you can’t tell where one ends and the other begins.
Step 4. Blend Some More!

Using the same blending brush and circular motions, blend at the top of the medium shade to remove any hard lines.
Step 5. Apply the Darkest Color

Using a thin-ish brush with short, stiff bristles (MW Blend and Smudge Brush), pick up the darkest color. Tap off any excess color (the excess will just fall off the brush and most likely onto your lashes or cheek). Apply color to the outside corner of your eye in a sideways “V” shape. Keep the color close to the outer corner of your eye. You don’t want to over extend this color. Don’t extend more than ⅓ the way into your eye. Reapply as needed for intensity.
Step 6. Blend Yet Again
Use the same fluffy blending brush to blend out any harsh lines. Using small, circular motions follow the shape of the “V” until the dark color is blended seamlessly into the other colors.

Add some mascara and go!
