Applying makeup for maximum coverage and flawlessless can be tricky for anyone. Here we've put together some tips specifically tailored for men. We hope you get some use out of them. Follow them in order for best results!
To help foundation sit flat on your skin and not sink into your pores and imperfections, apply a primer first. A primer will fill in fine lines and pores, creating a smooth surface for the foundation.
Apply a pea sized amount to the area desired and use either a small foundation brush or your fingers to spread it across your face and down your neck.
Try MW Prepped for Play Foundation Primer:
In areas where facial hair grows, apply a full-coverage cream foundation with a foundation brush or sponge and press into the skin. It's important to press and not swipe or wipe the foundation on. This will give maximum coverage in those hard-to-cover areas.

3.Using Foundation to Contour
To make your face appear slimmer use a foundation one or two shades darker than your skin tone to define the outer edges of your face - nose, forehead, chin and cheeks.
For a sharper, less broad look use the darker foundation and apply starting at the bottom of your cheek bone, moving all the way up the side of your face and onto the temples. Next apply across the top of your forehead, right along the hairline and connect with the temples on each side. Next apply to the sides of the bridge of your nose in a thin, straight line. Finally apply to each jawline.
Use a foundation that matches your skin tone in the center area of your face. Use a brush to blend the colors you applied, so that you can't tell where one color ends and the other begins.
To cover dark circles under your eyes, apply concealer with your fingertips (to get as close to your lash line as possible) directly under your eyes and towards the bridge of your nose.
Lightly pat with your fingertips until the concealer is blended.
Try MW Mistress in Disguise Concealer:
To prevent all that foundation from melting off your face. Set it with a translucent powder.
Use a fluffy brush to apply powder to your face after applying foundation. Again, pressing and not wiping or sweeping. Sweeping will just wipe it all off your face. It may appear too caked on at first but will settle in about half an hour and will absorb oils that would otherwise make your foundation fall off.
Try MW Set Me Up Translucent Powder:
For rosy cheeks, use a fluffy brush to sweep color on. When choosing a color, the lighter the color the less dramatic the look.
Start at the apple of the cheeks and work toward the outer edge of your face.
7. Setting Spray
To keep your makeup intact all day and night use a setting spray to help hold it all on.
Whenever it's hot out or you know you are going to work up a sweat all night long, spritz this all over your face.
